From Cloud Nine

Do I need a prescription to purchase cannabis?

Yes. Starting August 1st, 2025, a valid medical prescription issued by a licensed physician affiliated with a licensed clinic is required for all cannabis flower purchases in Thailand.

Can I walk in and get a prescription at this dispensary?

Yes, when a doctor is present. You may also do a telemedicine session anytime, during working hours.

How long does the process take?

Approximately 15 minutes per consultation (in-store or telemedicine).

What documents are required to purchase cannabis?

A Thai National ID card or a valid foreign passport. Copies or digital versions are accepted, but original documents are preferred.

Can foreign nationals purchase cannabis?

Yes. With a valid passport and prescription.

What medical conditions qualify for cannabis use?

Conditions include: insomnia, loss of appetite, migraine, Parkinson's disease, sleep disorders, chronic pain (including cancer-related), and anxiety. The doctor must clearly state the condition on Form PorThor.33.

What will I receive after I get my prescription?

You will receive a Cannabis Medical Card that records your prescription details and remaining balance. You may take a photo of the prescription paper, but the original must stay on file at the dispensary for one year, as required by law.

How much cannabis can be purchased per prescription?

Up to 30 grams per 30-day prescription. You can buy in smaller amounts and return to purchase the remaining balance within that 30-day period.

What happens if I use my full prescription early in the month?

You may schedule another consultation with the doctor, who will assess your condition. If medically justified, they may issue a new or extended prescription.

Can dispensary staff issue or approve prescriptions?

No. Only licensed doctors from Wonderland Clinic stationed in OG Retail outlets may evaluate and issue prescriptions. Dispensary staff will guide and assist you with the process.

What if I cannot present valid ID?

A valid Thai ID or foreign passport is required. We cannot proceed without it.

Can I request a refund for unused cannabis?

No. All sales are final.

Is cannabis consumption allowed on-site?

No. Smoking or consuming cannabis on the premises is strictly prohibited.

Can I buy cannabis for recreational purposes?

No. As of August 1, 2025, cannabis can only be purchased for approved medical conditions with a valid prescription.

Where can I obtain a prescription? Can I get one directly from this dispensary?

Yes. OG Stores are medically supported by Wonderland Clinic. You can receive a valid prescription by telemedicine: book an appointment through our online system and consult a doctor remotely. All prescriptions are legally valid, medically supervised, and compliant with Thai law.

Can tourists buy cannabis here?

Yes, in person at a licensed branch, with a prescription from a licensed practitioner (Thai rules since 26 June 2025). Nothing is sold online or delivered. Message us on LINE or WhatsApp with questions, or visit a branch.

Do I need a prescription to look around?

No. Anyone can read about the shop, its branches and how prescriptions work. Buying happens in person, on a prescription, for up to 30 days' supply.

How do payments work?

Can you deliver to my hotel or condo?
